Customer Reviews
We are getting wonderful feedback from many families who have used our pool house design catalog. Without exception, people tell us that the diversity of architectural designs and floor plans presented enabled them to select "just the right pool house" to complement the style of their homes and meet the amenity and storage requirements of their pools. We recently polled all those who took the second step and ordered a set of detailed building plans from us for the pool houses that they had selected in the catalog. These folks report that they built from the plans quite successfully, made modifications easily and saved money on architects' fees. One customer recently told us, "The illustrations and floor plans were quite helpful in my visualizing what kind of pool house I wanted to build. Your catalog and building plans are great." Another family, who built our Hacienda model, said, "Our pool house is the talk of the town. We even added a cellar for a wine room as shown in the magazine article attached." Choose from 63 Designs
Besides the convenience aspect, the Offieldís pool house has added a dramatic backdrop to their already beautiful swimming pool. "People are always stopping by to ask about it," Bambi continued. "Itís a real attention-getter, especially for families who own a pool and like to keep wet feet outdoors where they belong." The Offields purchased their pool house plan from Coventry Pool and Garden House Plans, then added their own special creativity, which most plan purchasers do. "The model we chose, the Hacienda, already had a southwest flair so we made some modifications to the front elevation and made it our version of the 'Alamo'," Bambi said smiling.
On the back elevation the Offields again used their design abilities to reproduce yet another look. "Since the pool house can be seen from the road we dressed up the rear elevation to look like an Italian grotto." There are stairs that descend to the castle-like wine cellar built under the pool house itself. "Itís a party place and itís themed to be a lot of fun. The plan we bought gave us the canvas to do our thing and we loved every minute of it," Offield concluded. "Our secondary objective was to have a structure with sufficient space to store and protect a large number of pieces of our deck furniture during the fall and winter seasons. The Seaside design met these needs and so we placed the building on a foundation with a walkout since it is set into the side of a small hill. Here is a picture of our cabana for your review." |

"It all began with a desire to do something extraordinary," said Bambi Offield of Keller, TX. "My husband and I purchased a set of pool house plans we had seen advertised in Pool & Spa Living magazine. We were looking for a plan that would allow us to do a lot of outdoor entertaining, so it had to have a changing room for guests, a full bath complete with shower and a good size kitchen so that no one would have to go into the main house for anything. Iíd say that convenience and the idea of entertaining outdoors were the driving forces. The other big benefit of our pool house is that it certainly keeps our home from getting messed up."
"Our primary objective was to have a cabana that would be quite attractive since it would be a focal point in our backyard with our pool and spa. We liked the look of your Seaside design with its columns, so we selected it and then made a number of changes to the interior floor plan to accommodate our needs. We divided the interior space into a changing area, storage and a place for serving food and beverages.
