2008 Buyers' Guide to
Saunas

How Long?
Typical sauna use should be 10 - 20 minutes per session, anywhere from twice a week to as frequently as twice a day. After using a sauna, to re-circulate blood and stimulate senses some users plunge into a cooler environment -- a shower, a pool or even a patch of snow, as is custom in many European countries. A 15-minute rest period should be observed after each session.
